Desouza examines challenges, opportunities in big data
In a report released today, Kevin Desouza, professor and associate dean for research in the College of Public Programs, examines a new frontier for the public sector: big data.
In a data-intensive environment--with 2.5 quintillion bytes of data created every year--the need to capture, manage and analyze information is an ever-increasing challenge. Desouza addresses the use of big data and the opportunities for federal leaders.
The report was conducted in partnership with the IBM Center for The Business of Government.
