Appolonnia Summers

Hello! My name is Appolonnia Trisha Summers. For short, everyone just calls me Lonni. I was born and raised here in Arizona and every since I was five years old I’ve known I wanted to come to ASU. I am in the College of Public Programs at the Downtown Phoenix campus and my major is Tourism Development and Management. I have very much enjoyed the courses within my major and I have loved learning as much as I possibly can about tourism and all the different aspects involved in the field. In high school, I never really gave any thought about tourism or its importance. Now, I cannot get enough of it! Tourism is always growing and changing with the times and there is just so much to learn about world of tourism. Right now, I am very interested in Hotel and Resort management and I hope my career will be in that field.
