Aimee Williams
My name is Aimee Williams and I am the resident Parks and Recreation Management major. Attached to my major is a specialty in Therapeutic Recreation and a certificate in Meeting and Convention Planning. I am a senior in the College of Public Programs, and have been attending classes downtown for a year and a half. Although I attend class and write blogs downtown, I live on the ASU Tempe campus. I am a member of the Greek community, and live with 25 of my sisters in the Chi Omega cluster in Adelphi. I spend my time giving tours to prospective students and volunteering with the Student Admissions Relations Team. I am currently the President of the Parks and Recreation Student Association, a student club for anyone interested in learning, exploring, and networking in the parks and recreation field. To pay the bills I work for a company called After Cool Fitness facilitating an after school fitness based program for elementary and middle school children. I attempt to reduce my carbon footprint by utilizing public transportation, the light rail being my favorite way of getting to class. I hope you find my personality as sparkly as the downtown lights.
