Do I have to see an advisor?
It is always a good idea to seek guidance of your advisor. They know the “ins and outs” of making sure you are on track towards graduation. Some students, however, must see an advisor before registering for classes. Those who must see an advisor are as follows:
Students needing mandatory advisement:- All freshmen
- Transfer students in their first semester at ASU
- Students with admissions competency deficiencies
- Students with special admissions status
- Students on probation
- Students who have been disqualified
- Students with a cumulative GPA less than 2.00
- Readmitted students
- All Social Work majors
What are the requirements of my degree?
While the following serve as guides for your degree, it is still crucial that you maintain contact with your advisor in order to ensure that you receive the most up-to-date information.
